I believe there is something deeply meaningful about being invited into another person’s healing process. It’s an honor to witness clients begin to recognize their own strength, reconnect with parts of themselves they’ve had to hide, and slowly soften toward who they truly are. I’m continually moved by the moments when someone realizes that the qualities they once felt shame around are often the very things that make them whole. Supporting this kind of reconnection is at the core of why I do this work and I would be honored to walk alongside you in your own journey.
My name is Leticia Encarnacion, and I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor with several years of experience working with teens and adults in therapy. I bring a grounded, compassionate presence to the therapeutic space and am naturally curious about the deeper layers of a person’s experience. I value both warmth and thoughtful exploration, holding space for emotion, humor, and reflection while gently exploring what lives beneath the surface. Therapy with me isn’t about rushing toward answers, but about creating room for insight, honesty, and meaningful change.
I care deeply about my work and the people I serve. I’m committed to ongoing growth as a clinician through continued training, personal reflection, and my own therapeutic work. I believe that meaningful healing requires curiosity, courage, and care from both client and therapist. Inner Sun Therapy is a virtual practice serving clients throughout Colorado and Florida, including rural communities where access to mental health care can be limited.
Sessions are held through a secure, HIPAA-compliant video platform, allowing you to receive thoughtful, consistent care from the comfort and privacy of your own space. Research shows that virtual therapy can be just as effective as in-person treatment when there is a strong therapeutic relationship and structured clinical approach.
Video sessions are required (rather than text-based services) to ensure meaningful connection, clinical effectiveness, and a supportive therapeutic environment.
Whether you’re in the city or a smaller town with limited local options, therapy remains accessible and grounded.

We’ll connect for a brief consultation where I’ll ask what led you to reach out and what you’re hoping for in therapy. You’ll have space to ask questions and get a feel for my style and approach. If it feels like a good fit, we’ll talk through logistics and schedule your intake session.
step 3.
first session
You’ll join me for your first virtual session, where we’ll explore your current concerns and relevant history at a pace that feels safe and supportive. This session is also a chance to experience what it’s like to work together and decide how you’d like to move forward with ongoing therapy.
